DIGITAL DETOX
I hope 2017 has been a special year for you and your family, one where you haven’t pushed anything off and you’ve tried to live immediately.
Firstly, thank you for your support and friendship this year.
I love this time of year as it is like the changing of the guards. One year is coming to its end, while another is eager to begin. A time of reflection and a time for planning and mapping out your goals for the next year.
Over the Christmas period I have decided to go on a digital detox for a few weeks—unplugging to unwind, disconnecting to reconnect, and switching off from social media to be more present and to slow down with my family.
I will be launching the Summer Series of the Live Immediately Podcast from next week for four weeks. This is where I’ll be diving into the podcast vault and dusting off some older episodes that I think you’ll love if you’re a new comer to the podcast, and if you’ve been listening over the years, these are episode that I think you’ll enjoy revisiting over the holidays on long drives.
If you feel that you’ve been looking down a lot this year, instead of up at life unfolding or reaching for your phone to numbly flick whenever you’re starting to feel a little bored. Why not embark on your own personal digital detox? Have a few weeks of no social media, no phones or tablets, no distractions.
Whatever you decide to do, I hope you and your family spend time doing the things you love with people you love over the break.
I’m off to play at the beach. See you in the New Year.
Have fun & live immediately
